Greg Nuckols and Eric Trexler
Greg and Eric provide educational support for our coaches and consistently check in with clients to ensure that everything about their experience is top-notch.
Greg is the founder of Stronger By Science. He's currently enrolled in the exercise science M.A. program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He's held three all-time world records in powerlifting in the 220lb and 242lb classes and has coached hundreds of athletes both in-person and online.
Eric is a pro natural bodybuilder and a sports nutrition researcher. He has a PhD in Human Movement Science from UNC Chapel Hill, and has published dozens of peer-reviewed research papers on various exercise and nutrition strategies for getting bigger, stronger, and leaner. Eric has several years of university-level teaching experience and has been coaching since 2009. Read more about Eric here.
Eric Trexler PhD, Cody Haun PhD, Aaron Thomas, Adam Fisher, and Greg Schiltz RD
All Stronger By Science coaches were hand-selected based on a strong history of producing results for clients. They’ve got some fancy degrees and years of experience as athletes themselves, to boot. On staff, we have: 2 PhDs, 1 Registered Dietitian, and 4 Master’s degrees.
Our coaches have experience competing in powerlifting (including a couple all-time world records), bodybuilding (including a pro card), and Strongman.
They have worked as Division I Strength and Conditioning coaches, researchers, in-person personal trainers for hundreds of clients (including all populations, from a Special Olympics powerlifting team to elderly clients to NFL players), sports nutritionists, exercise science professors, and more.
Cody has a PhD in Kinesiology from Auburn University. He has worked with hundreds of clients both in-person and online and is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at LaGrange College. Read more about Cody here.
Aaron has a Master's in Sports Performance and Coaching and has worked with NFL players, CFL players, collegiate athletes, and lifters and physique athletes. He's been a personal trainer and performance coach for 8+ years and has been training clients online for 5 years. Read more about Aaron here.
Adam has 6 years of personal training experience, 4 years of online coaching experience, and has worked with hundreds of clients in a variety of settings (one-on-one, group, athletic, elderly). Adam has over 10 years of lifting experience, including bodybuilding, powerlifting, and running. Read more about Adam here.
Greg is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, and has a Master's in Human Nutrition. He has worked with athletes for 10+ years and has provided nutrition and training coaching for strength athletes as an RD for 3+ years. Greg has more than 12 years of lifting experience and currently competes in Strongman in the under-175lb class. Read more about Greg here.

Comprehensive coaching is exactly what it sounds like. Your coach handles virtually all aspects of coaching that support your success, including a personalized training program, sport nutrition services, a personalized cardio plan (if needed), and ongoing support and communication for all three.
Price: $299/month for first six months, then $249/month ongoing OR $2499/year (paid upfront)
Sport Nutrition Coaching
Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, enhanced sport performance, or all three, nutrition plays a big role in your success. Our coaches provide ongoing, evidence-based sport nutrition services to support your performance and body composition goals. These services include ongoing education and support pertaining to calorie intakes, macronutrient intakes, nutrient timing, dietary supplements, and much more, delivered in a one-on-one format. We refer clients with more intensive nutrition needs to work directly with our team’s Registered Dietitian Greg Schiltz, who also provides sport nutrition oversight for our team when necessary. (Please note: Our coaches operate within their scope of practice and do not practice dietetics, medical nutrition therapy, or provide any medical advice or health-related counseling.)
Price: $239/month for first six months, then $199/month ongoing OR, $1999/year (paid upfront)
Your coach makes you a personalized training program, a personalized cardio plan (if needed), and provides ongoing communication, adjustments, and support to ensure consistent progress toward your goals.

A Skype consultation is a one-time, one-hour, one-on-one conversation with a member of our team. You can use this hour however you’d like to ensure that you get the information you need to support your goals and future success.
Price: $149 one time
Getting started is simple
1. Fill out the short application form.
We’ll ask you about your goals and training history. The application contains about 20 questions.
2. We’ll match you with a coach.
Our Director of Education, Eric Trexler, will review your application and match you with the perfect coach to support your goals.
3. Your new coach will contact you.
Your new coach will contact you promptly to finalize the process, send you a secure payment link, and get started with your programming.

What type of clients do you work with?
Our coaches have worked with all types of clients including (but not limited to): powerlifters, bodybuilders, physique competitors, military, police, CrossFit athletes, concurrent-training athletes, team sports athletes, and general population looking to improve their overall levels of fitness and performance and lose fat.
When you apply, we’ll match you with the perfect coach for you and your goals.
How often are check ins?
The frequency of check-ins is determined between the coach and client, but we generally encourage clients to check in as frequently as they see fit. For most clients, check-ins occur about three times per week, and you will always have at least one check-in per week.
How do clients communicate with coaches?
Communication is done primarily through email. However, if the client feels they need a more detailed answer to a question or want to discuss a topic, phone calls and Skype/video chats are also welcome.
