Greg Nuckols says
Absolutely nothing has an advantage over regulation by Warren G.
Jonathan Prudente says
Do you guys prefer one over the other in low bar vs high bar squats? Is this something to consider when getting into bodybuilding/powerlifting?
P.s. keep greg
Greg Nuckols says
I personally prefer high bar squats (they just feel better and more natural for me), but it’s probably worth learning low bar if you plan on getting into powerlifting, since most people squat a bit more low bar. There’s no reason you can’t just do both, though. For bodybuilding, high bar may be a slightly better option, since GENERALLY it lets you go a bit deeper and get a longer ROM for your quads.
Stefan Kunze says
What could be possible causes for being shaky when unracking the bar? Weak core / upper back, shoulder or too much weight?
Shaky as in I can barely take two steps backwards and shiver during the unracking.
Greg Nuckols says
I wish I knew man. I’ve seen that before, but I don’t really know what causes it.
