Coach Eric Trexler


Eric is a pro natural bodybuilder and a sports nutrition researcher. He has a PhD in Human Movement Science from UNC Chapel Hill, and has published dozens of peer-reviewed research papers on various exercise and nutrition strategies for getting bigger, stronger, and leaner. Eric has several years of university-level teaching experience and has been coaching since 2009.

I’ve spent the last decade learning the craft of fitness coaching from a variety of perspectives, from coaching myself to the professional bodybuilding stage, coaching others with a wide range of goals and skill levels, and running countless scientific studies on exercise, nutrition, and metabolism.   • I began coaching in 2009 and have coached a wide variety of clients, ranging from Special Olympics powerlifters to competitive football players and wrestlers
